Highlights from the LFL 2003 concert...
Lilies for Lillie 2003 was our inaugural year and what a year it was. The feeling that was experienced at the end of the night on November 2nd, 2003 at the Elks Club was one that words cannot describe. It was a night where we celebrated the life of Lillie Delaney and kept her spirit alive. About a 100 people came out to support our cause and they saw amazing performances by very talented entertainers who all donated their god given talent to our show. We laughed, we cried but more importantly we remembered – remembered the woman who died so young but brought so much joy to others lives. At the end of the evening, we raised over $3500 and that total grew to $4500 by the end of November with all proceeds going to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada.
