Highlights from the LFL 2005 concert...
Lilies for Lillie 2005 brought a lot of new experiences and challenges but we were definitely more prepared. We had a new partnership with the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation and we were very happy to be keeping our proceeds in Newfoundland and Labrador. We had a new venue and our show was held at the Bella Vista and we needed it as we had approximately 200 people in attendance on May 14th, 2005. While there were many familiar faces in relation to the entertainers, we saw some fresh faces as well and all contributed to a great night. While it was a completely different feeling doing it the 2nd time around, the sense of accomplishment was just as gratifying. By the end of the night, we had raised over $6000.00 and we knew deep in our hearts that money was going to help others deal with this deadly disease.
