Highlights from the LFL 2006 concert...
Lilies for Lillie 2006 bought our fundraiser to another level both for the project itself and the funds raised. Our show was on May 6th 2006 and was held once again at the Bella Vista. From the time we opened up the doors at 8:00pm until later that evening when the last act got up on stage, there was a steady flow of people and it is approximated that over 350 people attended the event. This was our 3rd show and it was by far the most successful to date and when I we did our finally tally of funds raised, we had went over the $13,000 dollar amount – far surpassing our $10,000 goal. At first it was a sense of disbelief but in the end it was a sense of pride and accomplishment and that our hard work had paid off. Upon closing the chapter on Lilies for Lillie 2006, we were already anxious to start looking forward to 2007!
